BELOW is an alphabetical listing of WW1 honor rolls found on the Montreal Standard's "Canada's Aid to the Allies and Peace Memorial" published in 1919. Although the publication was Montreal-based, honor rolls reflect companies from across Canada.
Many, but not all, of these WW1 Honor Rolls include British immigrants who lived and worked in Montreal at the time they enlisted for service in World War I.
There is no suggestion here that British-born soldiers are somehow more important than any of the other soldiers listed, they are simply more relevant to the topic of this site. I salute all of the people listed on these WW1 honor rolls, whatever their place of birth, religion, mother tongue, colour, or sex.
