My father Alfred “Alf” Henry Griffiths, age 17 arrived in Halifax, Canada aboard the Regina, from the port of Liverpool, England in April 1928
My dad was a quiet man, I do not know very much about his young life and nothing about his family
Alf was a crew member on Merchant ships in Canada (Vancouver) along with his good mate Arthur, in the early thirties
Dad arrived in Australia toward the late thirties and continued his life at sea serving aboard many Australian Merchant ships, until shortly before his passing in 1976
I would be very interested in any information about my dad, if that were possible
His Juvenile Inspection Report Card has a few additional details on where he was while in Canada. I will add it to the post as a larger image.
